The level of ambition was relatively low in module 1, but it is much higher in this module, so everything will be proceeding swiftly. This is a conscious choice as we know from bitter experience that learners tend to become very frustrated after a few months of learning Greenlandic. By that time one has usually discovered how unimaginably much one has to learn before you can even start to learn how to use the language productively.
Unfortunately there is no easy solution, since there ARE many relations to learn before you understand the underlying structure of the language that is a prerequisite before you can "sink your teeth in" using the language in the real world. This is why we have chosen the steep progression; to so to say force you to run away from your own frustrations.
But there is light at the end of this very long dark tunnel! When you in about 100 hours reach the 9th lecture, you will discover that you by that time reasonably unhindered can understand and handle most of the hundred thousands of words that 9th lecture contains. By that time you will have understood so much of the language's underlying systems that you can start learning new material almost in the same way you know from other foreign language learning.
The steep progression demands that you stick with the prescribed work flow in each chapter. If not, you will lose yourself!
And make sure to find like-minded students. You will need support and someone to talk to during this process.
