Exercise 0.7: Use Vb-TAQ + Vb-U

Vb-TAQ together with N-U is one of the ways to form the passive voice in Greenlandic.

Here are a few examples: asa- means as already mentioned "to love him/her". Accordingly {asa-TAQ} → asasaq means "the one loved" and {asa-TAQ-U+vuŋa} → asasaavunga accordingly "I am loved" and allap- that means "to write it". Accordingly {allap-TAQ} → allataq means "what has been written" and {allap-TAQ-U+vuq} → allataavoq then "It has been written".

Make words meaning (i) I am Vb-ed .. (ii) He is Vb-ed .. (iii) We are Vb-ed .. and (iv) Are you Vb-ed ..?

Push to check your answer, or to reveal the solution.
