Exercise 0.7: Use V-TAQ + V-U

V-TAQ together with N-U is one of the ways to form the passive voice in Greenlandic.

Here are a few examples: asa- means as already mentioned "to love him/her". Accordingly asa-TAQ → asasaq means "the one loved" and asa-TAQ-U{+vuŋa} → asasaavunga accordingly "I am loved" and allap- that means "to write it". Accordingly allap-TAQ → allataq means "what has been written" and allap-TAQ-U{+vuq} → allataavoq then "It has been written".

Make words meaning (i) I am V-ed .. (ii) He is V-ed .. (iii) We are V-ed .. and (iv) Are you V-ed ..?

Push to check your answer, or to reveal the solution.
